Classic Game Room was the FIRST classic video game review show on the Internet in 1999. Returning in 2008 with new episodes, Classic Game Room breaks out a review of the PLAYSTATION 3 PS3 video game console and blu-ray player. Now the the Bluray and HD-DVD format war are regarded as over, what does that really mean? Does Blu-Ray have a rosey future, or has the real format war just begun? In the PS3 vs. Xbox 360 vs. Wii battle for video game supremacy who will win? Some of these questions are brought to the table in this look from the technical side of things as the PS3. For your hard earned dollars how good is this thing and should you buy it or an Atari 2600? Now that the big games like Gran Turismo Prologue and Grand Theft Auto are upon us, should you sell a kidney to buy a PS3? Or is the Sega Genesis still a better game system? The wide variety of games available for the system alone before any modifications to the console. It is why I am staying with PS2 and PC (as my PC has other uses aside from games). And I plan to keep both in working condition.

I bought an XBOX360 at launch had several years to play with it on XBOX LIVE i didn’t even bought the HD-DVD drive but when HD-DVD failed and i had 3 XBOX360 RROD-ing in 3 years i ditched that platform and thank god i’ve bought a PS3. Its the best Blu Ray player/Game Console and media streamer. It’s even gonna get better when 3D capabilities will be unlocked on the PS3. Right now i have 2 PS3 slim’s and one phat PS3 (originally a 40gig) with an upgraded 120GB harddrive. I LOVE PS3 !!!

@RnB123100 then you see. THats the point behind the wii. Play with your friend such games like mario party n stuff. You see, you have that much games on gamecube that you can play on and all the old games from sega intendo n stuff. But the old games you mustr download. Btw.. its the only reason atm, i own the wii. Normaly i play mostly on the ps3.
And sometimes in the last month dreamcast. ^^ Sry.. i think, iam only a big nerd in Console games. :3
