How do you connect a ps3 to a technika 22″ tv 218 model i think, wii works through scart,ps3 doesnt?

Cant get a signal the tv say’s but for the wii you just plug it in go to source button, and press scart and there it is…. But ps3 doesnt do anything, do i have to use a hdmi cable?

Is it plugged in properly? Try connecting the PS3 to another TV and set it to output through the Red/Yellow/White cables. IF you have a HDMI port on your TV I would HIGHLY recommend getting a decent HDMI cable, NOT a Monster cable, they’re awesome but definitely too expensive, I think Sony sell their own HDMI cables for the PS3 that are good qaulity.

try holding the power button down for about 5 seconds as this will reset screen settings for use through the scart lead, then check you have connected it properly.
if you do have a hdmi port on the tv, put it through hd as the picture is so much better, no need for expensive leads a £10 lead will work just as well as a £100 lead on a 22″ tv
