the face buttons aren’t analogue and this poses a really big problem for me, being an old style gamer i want to use the buttons, and prefer driving games. so trying to get an 800 bhp car out of a hairpin with the throttle fully open isn’t helping my cause much.
his is suppoes to be a next gen console but i can see they cut a lot of corners to get it out.
did well to get it launched before christmas too.
WELL DONE MICROSOFT. ANOTHER MAFFIS BLUNDER

I think Microsoft are messing up the controller, looking at the PS3 controller you get wireless battery enabled controller for similar price. I found terrible I cant find no 3rd party wireless controllers. I definatly think its overpriced, but I could say same for Nintendo. Until a 3rd party shows up or discount, my free one will have to do.

3 stars for being great controller, but bad pricing.

1 star for fun, cause controllers arent fun, games are.

I have and love the old xbox maxi controllers (c.f. the original release xbox.) I have also played exensively with a cordless xbox logitech controller. Both of these fit in my hands confortably and allowed for a few hours of play without issue.

The xbox 360 controller from microsoft one is just too small for my hands. Having finally got my 360 I have been playing gotham for an hour or so and my fingers are cramped out. The fins need to be longer to give me something to grip as the controller is totally held by my fingers which is what is cramping

  4. Habib Parkinson Said,

Most people have praised microsoft for there controller design but to be honest its not that great and here is why.

    1)No anologue face buttons

2)To small for people with big hands

3)The trigger and bumper buttons are to close to each other

4)The battery back on the wireless controller gets in the way

5)After a while you are going to replace this controller because after a few months the battery pack wears down and it keeps getting knocked out after the slightest nudge.

6)D-Pad and Anologue stick are to close to each other.

  5. L. Simoes Said,

I’ve purchased the 60GB XBOX 360 today, mainly because of the exclusive games like DOA4 and HALO3 that aren’t available for my PS3.

Since long ago I’ve been waiting to finally purchase this console and now that the RROD issue is fixed I’ve thought this was the right time. Actually not everything is OK, since the new controller was a major let down! This controller is a piece of cheap plastic and the d-pad is totally unreliable. The original XBOX controller S was way better than this one. There is also the huge noise that comes out of the box when a disc is inserted, and believe me when I say that it can cause a headache.

The quality of the product is very bad! Overall, regarding hardware quality, I think that the PS3 and the SIX-AXIS controller are in a much higher league. I am one more disappointed gamer regarding Microsoft’s poor product quality.
