how can i connect my Xbox 360 to my broadband ?
I’ve just bought a new Xbox 360 and also a Xbox live 12 month gold member ship but i’ve got problems when i connect it to the internet , my broadband is Supa , and i’ve got a Zoom ADSL broadband when i do the test Xbox live connection it says IP address failed and when i open it , it says your gateway did not reply could you give me a good answer please?

Plug the ethernet cable into the router and the other end into the xbox360
Make sure DHCP is enabled in the ZOOM router.
Reset both boxes, try again
If you don’t have a router, get a router. – 4 port

You need a router acting as a DHCP server, so it can assign your Xbox an IP address, and then everything will work sweet.
It does all that itself though, all you need to do is plug in the router.

i think the live shud pick up the details of your broadband automatically, are you running it through router or the pc, shudnt make no difference really

ethernet cable from back of ur computer into the back of your xbox 360
