Majin Lets You Talk to Rats While Commanding An Oversized Chia Pet
As Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom begins, its main character doesn’t remember his name — but he knows his occupation (“I’m a thief!”), and for some reason knows how to talk to animals. He enters a “cursed kingdom,” stumbles onto a beast pinned down by a spike, and decides to find some fruit to energize the beast so he can pull out the spike. Voila — instant new best friend.
Yeah, it’s weird in that way you don’t see very often, and I’m not just saying that because you play as an amnesiac Doctor Dolittle, or because you befriend the beast — a “majin” — who looks like a rock monster with a Chia Pet growing out of his back. I mean it more because, in the first 10 minutes, you’re given multiple opportunities to talk with rats, and you stumble upon land mines that look like eyeballs.
