Why play “classic” ( read old 2D jerkathon ) games on new consoles? Go to boot sale get mega drive for 50p some groovy carts and enjoy. Now if it was Sega Dreamcast collection , Shenmui 1 + 2 , Soul Callbr 2 , Indy Racing , street racing kudos kudos etc etc count me in.

Yes there’s lots of games. Yes they look basically the same. But don’t let anyway tell you they’re perfect conversions because they just aren’t. There are subtle differences which ultimately affect the gameplay. I suspect a lot of reviewers bought this collection to dabble, to get through a level or so, maybe kill a few bosses…I bought this collection to mutilate and kill some classic retro games from beggining to end. But I found the flaws in translation affected the enjoyment. Either I’ll dig out my old Megadrive and get some new cartridges or…I dunno, maybe take some smack.

If you used to have a mega drive and want to relive your youth it’s well worth getting! After playing it tho, you can see how far games have come! Just think, the mega drive was cutting edge in it’s day!

sega mega collection has been done for quite a few times but this time instead of getting all the sonic games, the lock on features with multiply characters in golden axe this time we get a stripped down version of the xbox original version, i recommend get the xbox version unless ur just wanting this for achievements, if not then i highly recommend you stay away from this, use a emulater or the original xbox collection till sega releases a update or a proper collection
