Stunts (1990) should be in the list, it was a funny driving game with loops and lots of track obstacles, and you could make your own tracks.

I would argue for a position of Cruisin’ USA. I freaking love that game. Lets not forget Wipeout and Burnout 3: Takedown (AMAZING)
