I lost my mario kart wii game and have downloaded a backup version. How do I get it onto my sd card?

(do I put it in a folder on the sd card, which folder if so, or do I put it onto the root of the sd card? Then how do I play it on my wii? I have the homebrew application
My drive is not working properly so i can only use my sd card.

You should burn it to a black DVD with IMGBurn at x4 speed and run it through a loader application on HBC.

burn it to disc, or copy it to a WBFS formatted usb drive / sd card and use a usb loader.
