Classic Game Room HD reviews SUPER MARIO KART for the Super Nintendo! This first and original SUPER Mariokart is regarded as the best, is it? Coins, less powerups, the feather and real acceleration, the Mario Kart series has seen many changes since this SNES video game cartridge released in 1992. This CGR review of Super Mario Kart has gameplay from Super Mariokart on Super Nintendo SNES showing game play during this Nintendo racing game. 8 original racers compete in shorter, tighter tracks that push your driving skills to the limit. Compete in GT challenges for 50cc, 100cc and 150cc. Split screen multiplayer and battle mode are available as is a fun time trial version of gameplay. Characters include Mario, Luigi, Peach, Koopa Troopa, Donkey Kong and more. Graphically the game looks bright and vibrant and shines with detailed visuals that dont suffer from slowdown, flicker or lag with the controller.     You haven`t played Mario Kart 64, but claim to be a Mario Kart fanatic? Mario Kart 64 is the best one.

    BTW, is that Koopa handling alcohol at 4:31? I don’t think that should fit such an apparently “kid-friendly” series such as Mario Kart.
