How can you connect a normal, wired headset to a PS3 using a common male connector?

I have a wireless headset, specifically for the PS3, however it is really badly made so it keeps falling off my ear and you cant hear out of it. I was just wondering if you could use a normal wired headset using a microphone plug, The little jack connector (like on an Ipod headphones)… ???

It has been bugging me for ages… thanks for all your help

why not get a bluetooth headset? or usb.

I would recomend a bluetooth headset !
they are only about 10-20 pounds, and they work very well, you can use any bluetooth headset, even if it is originaly made for a mobile phone, as long as it has bluetooth, it works !

You cant dude but you can get USB and bluetooth headset i would recommed the officail ps3 one its sound qUALITY IS O MUCH BETTER AND PS3 RELEASE UPDATES FOR IT OVER THE PS3
