HOW CAN I FIX MY XBOX 360 RROD AND FREEZING SCREEN?I NEED HELP!!?
OK!I was playing halo 3 for a while with my brother and before i know it freezes ok no problem but when i turn it on the screen freezes before the XBOX 360 logo appears and i turn it off and back on and all of a sudden my xbox 360 shows me rrod i keep turning it on and off but still rrod and then i leave it off for like 30 or 20 mins and works like new but the symptom keeps appearing again in a cycle………is it really hardware failure like microsoft and 4myxbox says so or is it really bullcrap and i can fix it myself……….someone please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You risk voiding your warranty if you try fixing it yourself and it doesnt work. I thought 360 owners could send it away to be fixed?

Odds are your Xbox is under warranty, which is 3 years. If you get the red ring of death, just call Microsoft and they will send a box for you to ship your Xbox to them for free, and within a week or so you will recieve get it back without a problem. It’s free, and a much better alternative than trying to do it yourself, in which case the warranty will be invalid as soon as you bust the seal on the casing.
