They are the Tier 1 Operators. Over 2 million Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines wear the uniform. Of those, approximately 50 thousand fall under the direct control of the Special Operations Command. The Tier 1 Operator functions on a plane of existence above and beyond even the most highly trained Special Operations Forces. Their exact numbers, while classified, hover in the low hundreds. They are living, breathing, precision instruments of war. They are experts in the application of violence. The new Medal of Honor is inspired by and has been developed with Tier 1 Operators from this elite community. Players will step into the boots of these warriors and apply their unique skill sets to a new enemy in the most unforgiving and hostile battlefield conditions of present day Afghanistan. There is a new enemy. There is a new war. There is a new warrior. He is Tier 1. Follow Machinima on Twitter! @usmcjake101 Are you really being serious?
Tell me, do you support Call of Duty World at War, where you were fighting in the boots of a soldier of an army, which on it’s way to Berlin raped millions of women of all ages? I guess that is ok, cause they weren’t raping your mother or girlfriend.
And you have always been able to play in a Nazi uniform in multiplayer, killing American soldiers, but that’s ok too, cause that was so long ago and why should we remember the past, right?

@hobobastard
yeah i think is kinda stupid… so when us is killing arabs in a fake war created by call of duty its ok but hey this one happened fo real we dont want it…
Posted on September 7th, 2010 at 3:11 am
@usmcjake101 touche… touche… and I respect that.
Posted on September 7th, 2010 at 3:43 am
@ernest1337wong I get it – it’s a game. Nevertheless, if your mother or sister was the victim of rape – would you play a video game in the role of a rapist? Perhaps if you knew someone who died there fighting for someone elses freedom you would see it differently. At some point – even in the realm of gaming – one must set a standard. As for me, in honor of my friends who continue to bleed in that waste land – I cannot in good conscience support that game.

@usmcjake101 but by making an issue on “playing a taliban” kind off sends the message “hey its cool to kill marines in computer games but you can’t be a taliban when you’re doing it”. I do agree that in a way playing as a taliban killing marines and players will not feel remorse while doing so in the game is kind off sickening. But when gamers play it we don’t do “F*ck yea! die marines die!!”, to us it is just we, killing the enemy, disregard his uniform. Sad I know.

@usmcjake101 if that is the case all FPS with any form of non fiction army should be banned. Don’t get me wrong, I understand your point, but our society has been indulging in these kind off things. CoD MW has Marines being nuked, shot and killed by russians and middle east terrorists. CoD MW2 has an American general betraying his team, killing an american and british operatives, these games has been rated as great FPS but you don’t see a big issue about it.

Can somebody tell me, where the difference between the Tier1 Edition and the Limited Edition is? I only know, that by Tier1 is a Beta-Code for Battlefield 3 but our GameStop lists this Code by the Limited Edition, too…

@M1KENDO fuck up no one want to make a game like cod modern shit fail 2 cause its sucks the most and if your a cod mw2 fan or fan of any cod games your not welcome in the moh servers because your goona run aroung shoot in the air keep dying and ruining the community
Posted on September 7th, 2010 at 6:27 am
@JChicago2010 Yes, there are US servicemen dying every single day. I do not see how allowing gamers to play as our enemy honers their daily sacafice. As for getting off the couch – I could not agree more; as a former Marine who fought during the first gulf war and someone who was at the Pentagon after the 9/11 attacks I read your post and wonder…what have you done? Simply a question, not a statement. If one does not stand for something he will fall for anything. Hope you don’t land too hard.

Wow. I got chills at the end of the video when the soldier says “man, they really worked him over” and the beeping starts.

To clarify, no, Marine Force Recon is not part of Tier 1. Marine Force Recon was only recently added to USSOCOM because of their lack on involvement during the initial stages of Operation Enduring Freedom.
Tier 1 operators are members of the Naval Special Warfare Development Group (DevGru, or Seal Team 6), and Army Special Forces Operations Detachment-Delta (Delta Force).
Army Rangers, Green Barretts and Navy Seals are Tier 2 operators, and the best from Tier 2 are selected for Tier 1.
