PC Longplay [003] Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance (part 2 of 5)

www.longplays.net Played By RickyC 2nd play through of the game. Wanted to test out more HD games on youtube. Hopefully play better than last time. I chose a 16:9 resolution but looks a little stretched. A bit difficult getting this to work on my laptop and sound isnt perfect.

    @ApokalypticFilms Wrong, that has always represented Campbell’s or Zero’s frequency, Otacon also have given out briefings as well, and his frequency has not changed since Shadow Moses.

    nerd/fanboy fact : the codec/radio frequency 140.85 has remained the exact same frequency to contact the person giving you your mission briefing/help guy on the mission has remained since 1987 with Metal Gear on the NES… DUN’T PATRONIZE ME!!! HUURR HURR DURR!!

    @mumtaz08 Yes, yes you are the only one who thinks so. MGS4 is and has been declared officially as a masterpiece of gaming. This was not. Besides no one likes Raiden, he’s waaaay too whiny.

    @TheAzureKnighthood lol i think you press a certain key to trigger the random voices.
    i remember doing that on the PS2.
    i think you had to click in the analog sticks, or more known as “R3 or L3″.

    What the hell is with the random voices during the Codec scenes? I hear “Whatever!” or something else. I never heard that on other runs, even when I watched my brother play it a few years ago.

    Yeh, there wasnt any water for Vamp to run on in MGS4, but im just saying in general, his abilities seem to be a one-off…coz he never ran up walls in MGS4…
    He only licked the blood off his knife only to confirm the type of blood it is, coz Raiden has artificial blood…

    im sure he licks blood off the knife in mgs4 at some point. i cant really remember there being any water in mgs4 for him to walk on….. im just going off memory here.

    @scen45 : Yeah, correct, but even with the nanomachines, it doesnt explain why he doesnt drink any more blood in MGS 4, you’d think a pathetic character like Vamp would continue drinking blood.
    Why doesn’t he run up walls or run on water in MGS4?

    Man, am i the only one to think MGS 2 is way better than MGS4 in terms of story, atmosphere and sheer feeling….
    I think MGS 4 is just a stale graphic improvement….good story plot but definatly NOT better than #2…where here has lots of diolgue and interesting information….
