My pc is upstairs and my ps 3 is in another room upstairs and im using a 3 usb modem from my pc i want to connect a ethernet cable going to my ps3 for the connection , where can i get ethernet cables from ?

Or do i need to buy an optical cable to get surround sound through my ps3.
I have a plasma tv and want surround sound to go through my ps3. i only have one hdml slot on my plasma and surround sound dvd player, same as ps3, can i use hdml from plasma to ps3 and connect scart lead from dvd player to tv to get surround sound on my ps3.

I have only one connection in my home for phone/internet. I have a pc. If I were to buy an PS3 would I need a seperate broadband connection for it or could i just disconnect the pc and put in the PS3?

I can connect easily with cable from BTHomehub but not using wireless – even with 100% signal strength. Can anyone help? The PS3 detects the hub, I enter WEP key, etc,. but it always fails to get IP address when I connect wirelessly?

My internet connection would work fine until I click “Play Online” in the game, then it starts loading for a bit then it says “An error has occurred. You have been signed out from playstation network.” Does any body know what the problem is and/or how to fix it. I have a PS3. Thanks for your help in advance.
