I want to buy a x-box 360 but the faults and RROD creep me out,I cant spend my hard earned cash knowing that my console is living on borrowed time so is there such a thing as a problem free console for 360 I also heard that mid 2007 360 consoles and up are problem free and dont have the RROD,Is that true? my warrenty sticker has been slightly peeled but not half way through. Will microsoft accept this if it gets the RRoD.

I was thinking about buying a xbox off ebay. It says that the xbox was purchased last month, if the seller does not have a receipt, can I still get Microsoft to fix the xbox for free if I get RROD ect?
Also (if any) how long does the official Microsoft warranty last?

360 wont read any discs and its not covered by warranty so i’m trying to force red ring by the towel method so far 2 rings red, will microsoft fix the disc error or just the RROD or replace console?

I was just wondering if Microsoft repair the RROD fault for free, And if there is a link about it.
