Part 2 of 2: Classic Game Room HD reviews FAR CRY 2, for Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC game consoles. This review features the Xbox 360 version of FARCRY 2, review has gameplay footage from Far Cry 2 featuring action, video and HD game play from this first person shooter action game set in Africa. Use machine guns, flame throwers, rocket launchers and a variety of other military grade weaponry to raze the countryside to the ground in your search for an evil arms dealer. Work with factions, mercenaries and mysterious voices to annihilate pretty much everything that moves in the enormous environment surrounding the game. Far Cry 2 has received mixed reviews, CGR enjoys the epic scale of the game, variety of weapons, open world environment, jeeps, boats and mayhem. Gunplay is lacking a bit compared to some other big budget shooters but the size of the game makes FarCry 2 have high replay value with side missions and repeat gun battles with bad guys and arms dealers. Classic Game Room reviews MONSTER JAM: PATH OF DESTRUCTION for Nintendo Wii which features 28 real-life monster trucks, freestyle arena challenges and races! This monstertruck driving game is what it is… aimed at fans of monster trucks and kids with Grave Digger and Grinder posters on their walls. That being said the gameplay is fun, easy to pick up and play and thoroughly entertaining for the genre. Play with either the Wii wheel control or standard controls (preferred) and crush cars, busses and waste other punk ass monster trucks in a variety of race events in arenas across the great US of A! Classic Game Room HD reviews GUITAR HERO VAN HALEN for Xbox 360, also on Playstation 3 PS3, Nintendo Wii and the venerable PS2. Play with the band or just guitar and bass, Guitar Hero Van Halen may not be the best Guitar Hero as of late but it still packs about 2 dozen early Van Halen tracks and numerous other songs. Play as Van Halen with short hair and a new bass player (Wolfgang!) or rock out in spandex with David Lee Roth, Alex and Eddie and Wolfgang Van Halen! Yes, I’m missing Sammy Hagar and Michael Anothony, as well as the chance to relive the 80’s as Van Halen, but the game is playable and fun. It lacks the polish of Guitar Hero Metallica and the storyline of Guitar Hero Aerosmith, and in many ways falls flat where it could have really exploded off the screen with 80’s MTV awesomeness. It’s no surprise that the game was available as a freebie with Guitar Hero 5 but that doesn’t mean it’s a bad game, it just comes off as sub par compared to the other excellent Guitar Hero releases.
