I have tried to connect my xbox 360 using a wired connection to my a bt homehub but i need help?
I connected a ethernet cable between my homehub & 360 and proceeded to attempt initial connection to the xbox live service. During initial tests the connection was detected but the 360 could not detect ip address. I attempted to enable what was required but still the 360 could not find an ip address. I rang BT helpline and they advised me to reset the hub to factory settings. Now the hub refuses to acknowledge that i have ethernet connections. Rang BT again and they advised me to get a wireless connection for my 360 but i’m brassic & don’t think i should have to fork out just because bt have provided the wrong information. HELP! Anyone who could help me sort this out will receive 5 stars if advice works. And no, i can’t switch from bt without paying a huge fine for quitting their rather, how shall i put it, shite service. Ta for your time.
How do you get your PS3 online through a Wired connection?
Ok MGS:online is coming out soon and I need it up and running.
I have the PS3 with the ethernet cable connected to the back of the PC and PC tells me Local area connection is working, yet PS3 will not connect to the net.
Can anyone help me?
