I wrapped up Ben and JT’s old RRoD Xbox 360 as a gag this year!

How does it feel like to have a ps3, like the joy of opening up a freshly new box and feeling the joy of a system that will never get the rrod, i might be geeting one soon and just wanted to know, i never had this joy of feeling because i usally buy my systems used, -__- i just dont have enough money but suddonly i do, and im planning to get a new one, and just wanted to know the finer points and aspects of a ps3, what it includes, what comes inside, pros/con, ex.. Also i have a xbox 360 but im very upset about how boring it is, its litterly a piece of s*** i hate it soo much, nutthins wrong wit it it work perfectly fine but i just completly hate all the exclusive for it…and all that,….ex. ive had my xbox 360 for nearly 2 years and i do enjoy playing it, ive got lots of friends who play online and i have over 10,000 GS. the problem is ive had the RROD again and im fed up so im considering getting a ps3. should i give up rank,gamerscore and online friends on 360 or get a ps3 which tends to be reliable and has cool features such as free online play?
i do know about the 3 year warranty thanks, its just i dont want to wait for 4 hours on the phone to microsoft again which costs a fortune

Hi. about 1 month ago from now, i first got this red ring of death, since i had it in the 3 year RROD warranty i was saved… i sent it to Microsoft.. it got back to me in about 1 week… all was good….
… for the first 5 hours or so…. thats all the use i got out of it.. about 5 hours… maybe an hour or so a day, and the same happens. i sent my 360 to microsoft AGAIN about a week ago, and 3 days ago i checked my repair status and it says its on it way back to me, so i’m guessing it will be arriving tomorrow.

Will they replace my xbox 360 or will they just keep repairing it? i obviously have a dodgy batch

A friend of mine has a proper PS3 including a few games… everything in good condition!! she wants to swap it for a xbox 360.
Is anybody willing to swap? or does anybody knows if there is a store that would do it?

ok it has one rrod in the bottom right sided quadrant and says i have E 79
when i play without a hdd it works fine and i aint buying another hdd for this piece of sht so should i send it to ms or what? and i aint paying them

Right i got fifa 08 when it first came out, i got it from GAME forr £45. First disk had a fault, always freezing. So i took it back, got another disk, Still freezing accured. I thought one last go. 3rd disk. Still freezes!

I got my money back. Then thought i will wait a few months before getting it again. Came to christmas. The xbox messed up. RROD. Got a new xbox. In january i even got a new ISP. Virgin media. Today i thought. Ok, now is the time to get fifa 08 again. I went to HMV to get it for £30. Took it home. Still freezes! When i go to play online it just freezes!
