basically i can play on my xbox 360 for 10mins before it gets 2 flashing red lights and overheats. I put mine next to a window and leave the window open when playing and it works fine then, but its a real inconveniance. So i wanna replace it and i want some advice on what u think i should do:

-send it back to microsoft saying it has rrod (original warranty has expired)

-pay for microsoft to repair it: £60 :O

-sell it to game or summit and pretend nothings wrong with it and then buy a new one

-sell it to a xbox repair company for a reduced price

right 1st what did everyone think of E3 personally i thought that i gave this year to be one of the best years of gaming since the release of halo or gears of war i mean the new xbox and kinect look awsome but the games? sure treyarch are making this cod and this is bugies last halo game and the gears saga ends but who cares people will play these games long after they’ve gone

The 2nd part is that since the new slimline sex-box has been fully redesigned with a new os and motherboard does that mean that the RROD is no moree? because ive had my core system (with additional everything e.g 20gb hdd, thats all i need tbh but am happy with the 250 gb i get from the slim) since ‘07 and its died on me 5 times and tbh i think its running its last race, so has the cure for the xbox cancer finally arrived?

Hey,thanks for your time to see my question. A few weeks back,I had the RROD on it,3 flashing lights. I have seen some youtube videos on how to fix this problem,but many of these xboxs are turned on. When this happened to my xbox,(when the RROD came) I turned off my console and it wouldnt turn on..My power pack flashed yellow alll the time,i borrowed my nephews power brick and it just stayed orange..What is happening to my xbox? Is it possible to fix it,so i can turn it on?

Well, There are a lot of broken Xboxs’ Around on ebay. The Most common problem is the RROD. (Red Rind Of Death). Recently i found out Microsoft fix this issue for free, all yu need to do is print of an order form. If i but RROD’d Xboxs’, can i send them to Microsoft and get them refurbishes and sell them back on ebay?
